Amazon, Microsoft and Expedia have joined forces with the Washington state government to challenge US President Donald Trump's recent immigration-related executive order in court. The decision from Microsoft and Amazon comes as the tech companies and their employees rally around to protest against President Donald Trump. On Tuesday over 200 employees from Google staged a protest against Trump administration. "The executive order immediately -- and negatively -- impacted employees, dependents of employees, and candidates for employment with Amazon," Ayesha Blackwell-Hawkins, who is Amazon's senior manager of mobility and immigration, said in a statement. Expedia has, similarly, expressed business harms it was (would be) facing as a direct result of Trump's order.
