The band’s sound embraces country rock, folk, hints of grungy garage and SoCal rock. “Old Friend” rides a SoCal rock melody with jangling guitars providing the impetus. “Only One” travels on an alt rock melody with hints of country rock flowing through it. “Blood and Bones” reflects an alt rock melody with heavy guitars that descend to glossy ringing tones and then ramp back up. “Ed’s Song” offers up a rolling SoCal soft rock melody exuding a lingering dynamism both delicate and brawny.
