According to Mushfiq, it all depends on how the team performs in the tournament, and that the format of the competition won’t affect the sides much. “Yes, the format this time is tough, but it will give fair chances too. The team has grown and we welcome this tournament format. I hope something good awaits us.”The upcoming World Cup is going to be the fourth for Mushfiq in a Bangladesh jersey in the competition. In his 21 World Cup matches though, Mushfiq has not been able to bag a century.
