The four-member committee formed to probe the causes of the Murree tragedy has recorded the statements of administrative and operational officers and staff, sources privy to the findings said. The team also recorded the statements of the front-line personnel of Rescue 1122, who were supposed to be deployed at the site to deal with a crisis situation. Besides, officials of the forest department officials failed to submit a satisfactory explanation to the committee for their lack of coordination.
