By Stephen NakrosisMurphy Oil said its board named Eric Hambly to the positions of president and chief operating officer, effective Feb. 1. Hambly is an 18-year veteran with Murphy, the company said. Appointed as EVP, operations, in 2020, Hambly "earned roles with increasing responsibilities primarily focusing on offshore operations in the Gulf of Mexico and Malaysia, as well as onshore operations in the U.S. and Canada," the company said.
