Moheshkhali Police Station OC Pradeep Kumar Das told bdnews24.com that four police personnel were injured in the 'gunfight' at Chaliatoli in Matarbarhi around 8pm on Monday. The injured were being treated at Moheshkhali Upazila Health Complex. OC Pradeep said a police team went to the area on a tip-off that Junu was in the area. The policemen chased and caught Junu after half an hour of exchanging gunshots," he added. He also said nine locally made guns and 30 rounds of bullet were found at the spot.
