Amporn is also a defendant in another bombing case at Samarnmetta Mansion in Nonthaburi in 2010 that is under appeal. The dismissed case involves a March 2014 bomb blast in a Minburi playground that caused the death of two people and damaged a motorcycle. Citing weaknesses in the witness testimony and evidence provided by the plaintiff, the court found insufficient reason to convict Amporn and dismissed the case. Amporn had previously been arrested in the Samarnmetta Mansion bomb blasting case and charged for possession of explosives, raw materials and firearms without permission. The case was dismissed but the prosecutor has appealed the case.
