The search for people trapped in a Murang'a building that collapsed last Friday has been called off after two people who were missing have been traced. The other missing person, Benson Ndung’u, is also alive and is in his home in Kasarani, Nairobi County. “He must have heard the rescuers working on the rubble on top of him when he cried for help and they were able to get to him,” she said. County commissioner Fred Ndunga said a multiagency rescue team was still working to rescue the two construction workers still trapped. The building that was under construction collapsed at 2pm on Friday, trapping workers who were working on the topmost floor.
