Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Muraleedharan wanted the Principal to submit her resignation. He also wanted the police to arrest her in connection with a petition filed by students against her. Mr. Muraleedharan made his announcement moments after KPCC president V.M. Senior BJP leaders have been making their appearance before the academy almost every day and this has been worrying the Congress. Mr. Muraleedharan has thrown his full weight behind the striking students, keeping constant touch with them on a daily basis.
