NewsThe Murali Harmony Cup 2016 was inaugurated yesterday in Kilinochchi under the patronage of former Sri Lankan Captain and cricketing legend Kumar Sangakkara. The tournament gets underway today in the districts of Kilinochchi, Mulaitivu and Jaffna. A total of 16 male and eight female teams have qualified to participate in this year's tournament. Both former and current members of the National Cricket Team will attend the tournament to observe the cricketing talents of northern youths. The tournament is organized by the Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi while the Foundation for Goodness will be the main sponsor of this event.
