Little Harper-Lee Fanthorpe died in hospital after swallowing a tiny battery, which caused internal injuries. The little girl was rushed to hospital and Dr Anna Piggott said that doctors wanted to inset a camera to see where the blood was coming from. But sadly at around 10.50pm on May 23, doctors asked Harper-Lee's mum and godmother to go in the family room, where they received the heartbreaking news that the girl had died. (Image: Stoke Sentinel)The little girl had passed away at 10.17pm as the button battery had burned through her oesophagus and a major artery. Everywhere I went Harper was behind me.
