The incident happened in the wee hours of Tuesday and the injured people were rushed to various civic-run hospitals. The hospital authorities stated drowning in flood water as a cause of injury and deaths in many cases. Most of the injured patients admitted had suffered from a head injury and fracture or cuts on their body. Out of the 60 injured patients, six of them are minor between the age of six-months-old to 14 years of age. Injured patients were shifted to Shatabdi Hospital, HBT Trauma Care Municipal Hospital, RN Cooper Hospital.
