The mini-pumping stations are part of the revised Brimstowad project that looks at overhauling Mumbai’s 19th century storm water drains. The current master plan, including the four mini-pumping stations, was updated in 2014. The Charni Road mini-pumping station will further eliminate water-logging at Girgaum and Grant Road (East), the official said.
