By MiD DAY Correspondent | Posted 3 hoursA Mumbai-bound Lufthansa flight from Munich, on Friday night, had to be diverted to Turkey. This had to be done due to a medical emergency on board. However, a spokesperson of Lufthansa said, "The flight en route to Mumbai had to make a medical emergency landing at Turkey after which the sick passenger was provided with immediate medical care." According to sources, the passenger went into her labour mid-air after which the pilot contacted the nearest Air Traffic Control and, after declaring medical emergency, landed at Turkey. The flight LH 764 was delayed for around two hours after an on-board passenger fell sick.
