BMC will carry out proposed 1200 mm diameter Butterfly valve at pumping station at Bhandup Complex. The proposed work will be taken up from 9.00 AM to 9.00 PM on January 31, 2017 (Tuesday). As a result the water supply to Mumbai city will be curtailed on January 31. Island city will face 20% water cut from Colaba to Mahim and 20% water cut in western suburb from Bandra to Dahisar. BMC has requested all the citizens to store sufficient water and co-operate with the civic body.
