The Jesal Park Subway project had taken off in 2011 with a plan for it to be ready by May 2014 by way of micro-tunnelling construction method. Political and bureaucratic apathy of those in decision making in Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has meant that projects benefiting public get stuck midway after having spent certain crore of rupees. In order to successfully have a link road from Dahisar to Bhayander and eventually connecting with Jesal Park, there is a need to widen station road in Bhayander (West) and more importantly, complete Jesal Park Subway, that is in limbo for years now. The Subway (Virar end of Bhayander Station) is crucial for East-West connectivity of Bhayander, because there's only one rail over bridge to bridge both the sides, which is off Mira Road.
