Kith and kin of Siddhesh Tamhankar, who was arrested for allegedly abducting and murdering his colleague Kirti Vyas, say that he is innocent and has been arrested without any evidence. Unwilling to accept police's theory that Tamhankar killed Vyas as she had issued a memo, his sister said, "We don't believe in the theory. He himself admitted that he was with Vyas on the day when she went missing. Ruing that she was not allowed to meet Siddhesh when she went to meet him in the police station and pressing her point further, she added, "On the fateful day, Siddhesh reached office on time, and came back home on usual time. But we all will stand with Siddhesh as we know he has not done anything wrong," said the accused's brother-in-law.
