No harm has been caused to the patients, patient care in the fire that broke out at Asian Heart Institute and all hospital functions are continuing normally. Fire broke out in the basement of Asian Heart Institute hospital in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai last night but no one was injured. The hospital authorities described it as "minor". Hospital sources said late in the night that there was a "minor fire" in the basement which was picked up by the fire alarm system. It was immediately controlled by the staff and fire brigade was called, they said, adding there was no harm to the patients, patient care and all hospital functions are continuing normally.
