Doctors reassured Beth, 37, twice that she 'was too young to have cancer' and told her to return only if her symptoms got worse. In April 2016, Beth, who was later diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. Medical experts examined and confirmed that it was bowel cancer and it reached stage four. Beth has got together with Bowel Cancer UK and Coloplast to help others talk about their symptoms with their GPs in attempt to raise awareness about bowel cancer. Bowel Cancer UK also advises the British public to familiarise themselves with warning signs.
