GEORGE TOWN: A mother of an autistic child pursued an advance diploma in special education with the aim of providing her son with a better learning experience. “I just wanted to find out more about special needs education and how I could help my son. It was good to meet other parents with special needs children,” she said during the Autism Acceptance Run 2019 at the Straits Quay Marina Mall here yesterday. She said Neoh Rayhan, 15, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. During the event, Rayhan also contributed several pieces of artwork which were put up for sale at between RM300 and RM1,000 each.
