EVERY year, Tuan Syazwiain Tuan Zarahim Nazri, 30, orders special clothing for her children for Merdeka Day celebrations. For this year's National Day celebration, Tuan Syazwiain decided to sew the childrens' costummes herself. "I took up sewing and learnt techniques through YouTube tutorials and one day, the idea of making National Day costumes for my children and myself just came to me. She added that the children would also wear the outfits to any National Day events organised by the school or government agencies during the national month.
