Jo Turner, 49, is preparing for the new year with optimism after a gruelling two-and-a-half fight against aggressive forms of the disease. Jo was first diagnosed with kidney cancer in May 2014 before developing lung cancer while this year she was told she also had three brain tumours. "The future looks bright but we have to wait for the results of the next scans before getting too hopeful." Any cash left over in the future will be donated to the Amethyst ward, the family say.
