Carol Hutchins had eagerly anticipated a sunshine-filled stay at the TUI Magic Life Hotel in Fuerteventura alongside her daughter, Layla, scheduled for late October. The TUI airport team supported her on the day and explored alternative options, which she chose not to accept." Carol arranged her trip to the sun-drenched Canary Islands through the TUI Doncaster branch on October 23, 2025. Nevertheless, according to Layla, Carol felt uneasy about travelling without her personal equipment or facing the prospect of being without one temporarily upon reaching her destination.
