And just months after undergoing the test and being given drugs to treat her cancer, she claims her brain tumours vanished. Doctors gave her between six and 12 months to live, but after going online, she came across an American test called FoundationOne. Following the test, Heidi discovered that five of her genes had mutated - two of which had available treatments, which she was given. According to the page, Heidi, from Burland, is a non-smoker who has had various jobs - from a water engineer in Africa to an actor.
