MIRI: People from 40 races and ethnicities in Miri celebrated Malaysia Day at the multiracial Plates Miri coffee shop here. "We take this opportunity to wish all Malaysians a blessed Malaysia Day. May we continue to love and cherish one another in a true spirit of interracial solidarity," said Plates Miri owner Molly Robert. “As we celebrate Malaysia Day, let us not forget nor take for granted this priceless multiracial and multi-religious way of life in Sarawak and Malaysia,” she said. Plates Miri is a multiracial coffee shop with various stalls selling Iban food, Kayan food, Chinese food and halal food.
