SEREMBAN:Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan is confident voters will give Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin a fresh mandate if snap elections are called. The Umno deputy president noted that the Prime Minister should call for fresh elections by the year end or early next year while his government was still popular. "I believe the people will give Muhyiddin the mandate if elections are held by the end of this year or early next year. Mohamad said fresh polls should be called as too much time was spent politicking. "Our forecast was that the economy may shrink 10% or 11% in the second quarter but it contracted 17.1%.
