A college student and part-time auto rickshaw driver was murdered in Bogra city by muggers who hired him. Police have recovered the auto rickshaw and arrested Abdul Karim, 28, one of the hijackers from the town’s Malgram area. On Saturday evening around 8pm, Abdul Karim, son of Abdul Kuddus, and two of his associates hired Al-Amin’s auto rickshaw from Malgram area. When going through Shohortoli’s Chilimpur, the hijackers stabbed Al-Amin’s right thigh with sharp weapons and fled the scene with the auto rickshaw. Based on intelligence, Karim, the leader of the group, was arrested and the auto rickshaw was recovered.
