The Mufti of Jerusalem commended Morocco for its unwavering support to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people at a time when the US and its allies in the region are putting forward plans to entrench the Israeli occupation and alter the character of the Al Quds (Jerusalem). He stressed the attachment of Palestinians to the city saying that last Friday they were 200,000 Palestinians to have accomplished Friday prayer in the Al Aqsa mosque. This was a clear message to the world and to the Zionists of the Palestinians’ attachment to Al Qods and to the holy places, the Mufti said. Beyond that, the Deal dehumanizes Palestinians. It reduces them to mere economic units without national political rights or individual aspirations, lacking any right to self-determination or means to escape Israeli domination.
