Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that the Mt Kenya region must stay united. Speaking in Meru on Sunday, Gachagua said by uniting, the region has greater negotiating power and for this, they must stay in government for the next 100 years. The DP insisted that people from the Mt Kenya region are smart and there is no way one will take them to be in the Opposition. He said that it is now his mission to unite the region to stand solidly behind President William Ruto. "I have looked for all those who were in Azimio, I want this region to be one under President William Ruto."
