Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo said this when she met with the members who defected from the NDC. They promised to work tirelessly to get Nana Akufo-Addo elected as President of Ghana, to pursue the agenda for change. The leader of the defected groups thanked Mrs Akufo-Addo for welcoming them into the New Patriotic Party. Her decision to join the NPP and recruit other NDC members to join the NPP was based on the corruption and lies of the NDC. She added that her strong belief that Nana Akufo-Addo would deliver on his promise, particularly with regards to free SHS, so their children can also become lawyers, doctors and teachers.
