Yesterday, news hit the internet that popular comic Yoruba actor, Babatunde Omidina popualarly known as Baba Suwe is down with chronic diabetes. It was also reported by some media outlets that the ailing screen star has been abandoned by colleagues and the film industry but the National President of the Theatre Arts and Motions Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria, (TAMPAN), Mr Latin has reacted to this. In his reaction, Mr Latin who is also an actor himself denied the rumors that the actor has been abandoned. According to him, the medical bills of the actor is something the association has been taking care of since 2017. He said,“I have just instructed the Lagos State executive of the association to check on him (Baba Suwe) to ascertain his health progress.
