The non-profit organisation said it was encouraged by a pledge yesterday evening from Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s chief executive, to revise the platform’s privacy settings, but had decided to “press pause” on its advertising with the social network because it still had concerns about how robust the new controls were.
