Spurs accepted an offer from Chinese Super League side Beijing Sinobo Guoan last week, and it has now emerged that Guangzhou - 75 miles north-west of Hong Kong - have also tabled an acceptable offer. With the 31-year-old Belgium international now set to bring an end to his six-and-a-half-year spell in north London. Dembele's Tottenham contract expires at the end of the season, which would have allowed him to leave the Premier League club on a free transfer. Dembele, who has not played for Spurs since November due to an ankle injury, has been keen on a move to China since the summer.
