Mourners gathered south of Hanna on Tuesday at a candlelight vigil for three children killed in a crash last week. They are in a very difficult state," Zelalem Mesheshka, a member of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, said at the vigil, held at the scene of the crash. The mourners travelled by bus more than 200 kilometres from Calgary for the vigil, which began with a prayer for the victims before flowers and gifts were laid on the memorial. The vigil was one of several steps of mourning in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. The Ethiopian and other communities from Calgary have rallied to support and help the family with food and other donations.
