BURNLEY, England — Anthony Martial scored his third goal in as many Premier League games as second-placed Manchester United won 1-0 at Burnley on Saturday. After the game, United manager Jose Mourinho said he expected the big-money deal to sign Chile striker Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal to go through soon. “I think it’s so close — so close that if it doesn’t happen (soon) it’s not going to happen. United showed why it needs Sanchez’s firepower up front by producing only two efforts on target all game. At the other end, though, Spain goalkeeper David de Gea helped the visiting team clinch its fifth successive clean sheet.
