Marlborough Mountain Bike Club president Fraser Brown, who was recently crowned New Zealand Mountain Biker of the Year, said the idea had been in the works for years. "We're calling it a progressive skills zone, so we will have five different zones from zone 1 to zone 5, and you will progress through them. Consultation on the proposed mountain bike skills area and tracks closes on 11 November.
