BNP senior leader Moudud Ahmed on Friday expressed his hope that the High Court will grant bail to party Chairperson Khaleda Zia over the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case on Sunday. “The hearing on her (Khaleda Zia’s) bail petition will be held on Sunday. “We believe, as per the rules and structure of the judiciary, Khaleda Zia will get bail on Sunday,” Moudud added. The BNP leader was speaking at a discussion arranged by “Khaleda Zia Mukti Parishad” at Jatyia Press Club, to demand the BNP chairperson’s immediate release from jail. “Our leader (Khaleda Zia) will surely come out of jail.
