Next contender is young Christchurch racer Marcus Armstrong, who has been plying his trade in karting all over Europe. It hasn't been difficult at all and only gets a bit boring at this time of year when there's not much on [racing]. While most teenagers have no idea what they want to do, Armstrong had a plan and started racing karts in 2007. More recently Armstrong took the next step in his career and has been testing and racing in a Formula Renault single-seater.
