A few more barricades have to be placed along Grand Southern Trunk Road, starting from the intersection of MKN Road and Anna Salai in Guindy. At present, only a couple of barricades have been placed there and they don’t serve much of their purpose. “Motorists do not bother to slow down at the intersection,” says S. Narayanan, a motorist. They could be placed near the intersection. Making things worse, MKN Road is pothole-ridden and uneven near the intersection.
