Motorcyclist dies in collision in Etobicoke

A motorcylist was pronounced dead at the scene in a collision in Etobicoke on Thursday afternoon. Police said in a tweet that the crash happened near Kipling Avenue and Jutland Road. A 37-year-old man was riding a motorcycle northbound on Kipling Avenue when a 17-year-old driving a 2021 Hyundai Tuscon “attempted to make a left turn from a gas station to proceed southbound on Kipling Avenue, and collided” with the motorcyclist. Paramedics attempted life-saving measures but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Police closed the roads in the area for the investigation before reopening them later in the evening.
