BATU PAHAT: A motorcyclist died after he was hit by multiple vehicles while a Good Samaritan who tried to help was badly injured during a series of accidents along a dark trunk road here. He said initial investigations showed that the motorcyclist was already lying on the road when a Perodua Myvi hit him. "The motorcyclist had either skidded and fallen on the road or was involved in an earlier accident. He also said that the motorcyclist, who was not identified, died on the spot from severe injuries while the Good Samaritan, identified as Mohammad Hafifi Hafiz Abd Razak, 31, is in critical condition. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving.
