The scene of the crash at Ngongotaha, near Rototrua. A motorbike rider has died after a crash in a small Bay of Plenty town. Residents rushed to the aid of the stricken rider as emergency services administered CPR at Ngongotaha, near Rotorua, on Saturday morning. They arrived to find the motorcycle laying next to a lamppost about 25 metres away from its rider. As emergency services helped, residents used blankets to shield the stricken man.
