Motor neurone charity walk held in Dunedin

Participants walk along John Wilson Dr this morning. The 3km-4km-long walk is a national fundraiser to help support the association's services and research for a cure, and was organised in Dunedin by Emma McGregor and Abi Charters. MND is a fatal neurodegenerative disease and can strike active Kiwis, often in middle age, changing lives overnight. The Motor Neurone Disease Association of New Zealand's support team provides free, personalised support and advocacy for almost every person with MND in New Zealand.
