From The Times, April 17, 1920In the fifth round of the Handicap Race for the British Motor Boat Club’s 21-footer class, which started at 3 o’clock this afternoon, Mr Oswald B Colls, secretary of the British Motor Boat Club, had a narrow escape. He was steering Commander Morton Smart’s Angela when shortly after the end of the fourth round she overturned. Mr Colls happily managed to get clear and work himself up until he was astride the still floating vessel. Both Vicuna (Mr Oscar Martin) and Vixen (Mr J B Alexander), which were also in the race, at once gave up, and stood by to give any needed help. Assistance from boats which patrol the Monaco course and the harbour tug was also immediately
