It was in the last week of February when Motorola, now a brand owned by Lenovo, showed the Moto G5 Plus and the Moto G5 for the first time. The rounded edges give the Moto G5 the sort of pebble look that was missing from the Moto G4 last year. With the Moto G5, Lenovo continues to use the same design language that it introduced in the Moto Z series and then subsequently brought it to the G5 Plus. The Moto G5 too has the same fingerprint scanner, under the screen, that the Moto G5 Plus uses.
