Rolando Aarons has made 27 appearances for Newcastle and joins to the end of the seasonMotherwell have received the third-highest transfer fee in their history after James Scott's £1.5m move to Hull City, and signed winger Rolando Aarons from Newcastle United on loan. The Scott deal is worth more up front than Phil O'Donnell's move to Celtic and James McFadden's switch to Everton. Motherwell also have a sell-on clause in the deal should the 19-year-old move on for a fee. Aarons, 24, joins on a deal until the end of the season and will help replace Scott, having been initially linked with Kilmarnock. He has played 27 times for Newcastle, scoring four times, and has also featured 11 times in Serie A with Hellas Verona and had spells with Slovan Liberec and Sheffield Wednesday.
