A mother is in serious condition after she was hit by a car Sunday while walking with her baby in a stroller. The accident happened near the intersection of Bay and Cumberland Sts. Police say that a crash between to cars sent one of the vehicles over the sidewalk and into the mother and her child. Both the mother and her child were taken to hospital, although paramedics say the child’s injuries are minor. The mother’s injuries were described as serious.
