A fire that broke out in a house in Caloocan City on Monday night left a 70-year-old woman and her son dead. Hours before the fire, Carbonell, who had a mental disability, went into a rage, prompting his mother Linda and brother Pepito to ask barangay watchmen for help. ADVERTISEMENTPepito left the house to visit a friend in Quezon City after locking Carbonell inside his room. Their mother, on the other hand, appeared to have died of suffocation inside her bedroom. At least P500,000 worth of property was damaged in the fire.
