(File photo)A woman researched “drugs that can kill toddlers” before she laced milk with a toxic concoction and gave it to her young child while he was in hospital. The woman deliberately mixed antidepressants, pharmaceutical eye drops and nasal spray with milk and through a feeding tube and gave them to her toddler, the court heard. One of the searches was “child poisonings from eye drops, nasal sprays”. Again, she continued her research online before stealing more eye drops from the pharmacy and giving him more substances. About 11am, the mother laced the baby's feeding tube with a toxic concoction of ingredients from eye drops and nasal sprays.
