The mother of two Aboriginal brothers who drowned in a river has been charged with their manslaughter. Barak Austral, five, and Jhulio Sariago, three, were found in a deep section of the fast-flowing Ross River, in Townsville, on February 26. 'As a result of what's been a fairly arduous investigation over the last five weeks, we've taken the boys' mother into custody,' Snr Sgt Miles said. 'This investigation centres around the care of these young boys and what led to their tragic passing. The boys were found submerged in the Ross River in Townsville just before 7am on February 26.
